For all of us, as children, our childhood was a very important period in our lives, wasn’t it? It was a time of fantasy and happiness that just can’t be compared. Even despite some hardships, there are good memories, aren’t there?
But, do you ever think, when you see a kid walk past you, what kind of future they’re going to have? Do you ever wonder in what kind of world they will be setting foot on, or if there’s even going to be a world for them to fulfil their dreams, like we wanted for ourselves?
When you were their age, your dreams held a very special place in your heart, didn’t they? And to accomplish those dreams would have made you feel like the happiest person alive, right? Well, even if many kids don’t realise it, their dreams will be the stepping stones to their future happiness, and will allow them the chance to discover hidden talents they didn’t know they had. And it is also our responsibility to allow them the chance to make those dreams come true.
As a parent – if you are one – your decisions affect their future. In fact, even what you tell your child can massively impact their life – for better or for worse. So, you have the responsibility of helping them grow. But, does this only apply to parents? – Actually, no. The truth is, that responsibility is ours, of all of us. Because our actions play a big part on how better or worse the world gets and, consequently, impact them.
But you are already aware of that, aren’t you? You feel responsible for your actions and care about the future of your children and the children of this world. Just the fact that you’ve read it this far means that you want to do what is within your reach to help the children of this world grow up happier. And for that exact reason, what you are going to read next is going to be extremely important to you, because it will allow you to do exactly that. So, here’s what you can do to make sure the future of every child on this planet is as happy and fulfilling as it can possibly be:
3 Things You Can Do That Will Completely Revolutionize The Future Of All Children Worldwide
Number One: Become Educated
Okay, let’s stop right here, just to clarify something: Becoming educated is different from getting an education. While getting an education means you go to school, you go through some very hard times and you get a diploma at the end, becoming educated means you start doing research on your own on subjects that directly impact your life, your health and your well-being.
“But how is this going to help children all over the world?” – you ask; well, here’s the thing: We all know, at some level, the world we live in is a little messed up, right? People turn against one another, value money and possessions more than the people closest to them, work non-stop for over 40 years just so they can spend some good 15 years at the end of their life enjoying what little health they have left…
But, unlike what we’ve been taught, it doesn’t have to be that way. And so, we need to admit to ourselves there is still a lot that needs to be done to make this world a better place. And all of that starts with you becoming aware of everything that needs to be improved. If you do so, just learning and becoming more aware of the world around you, will cause a change in your actions almost immediately and it will inevitably help create a better future for our children.
So what is there to become educated on? Well, plenty of subjects, actually. But, of course, it depends on what you already know, too. Below, I will spike your curiosity with 3 subjects that may help you make better sense of the world around you.
1. Understanding How Money Actually Works
There is a whole lot more about money than most of us even realise. The next paragraphs are an excerpt from the Article “The Banking Scam They Don’t Want You To Know About”, which will give you an initial insight on the subject:
“We all know what money is, right? An interchangeable piece of paper that we trade for something of equal value, right?
Well, no. The piece of paper we call “money” is, in fact, not money at all. It is currency. There is a big difference between money and currency.
Money is a valuable object that can last a very long period of time and whose value remains basically the same everywhere on the planet, such as silver and gold. The value remains basically the same because of its properties and because it is limited. For example, why do you think diamonds are so valuable? (…) It’s scarcity that makes them so expensive.
However, these goods(…) were heavy to carry around, so bankers came up with a solution: they would store people’s money, and give them “receipts” in exchange. Those receipts would correspond to the gold or silver people had stored in banks. This receipt is currency like the one we are using until this day.“
What this means is, essentially, that money isn’t what nowadays we call money. “Money”, the piece of paper we walk around with in our pocket or in our wallets, is just that, a piece of paper. You should read the rest here to understand the even bigger problem with this.
2. Understanding The Pharmaceutical Industry
Nowadays, going to the hospital, buying pharmaceutical drugs has become as normal as getting up in the morning to go to work. It is a part of our day-to-day lives and more and more people are getting even more prescription drugs than they ever did in the past. And, for some reason, people believe this system will work. Well, it’s normal, actually. Who would sell us something that would cause us harm just for their own profit, right? Well, while for many people this may seem difficult to believe, understandably, it is much more likely to happen than anyone involved in the business would care to admit.
Have you ever noticed the most basic principle of this Industry? That is, they can only sell you drugs if you are sick – they can only profit from you when you are sick. That raises a lot of suspicion, doesn’t it? Even more, considering this Industry already profits billions each year, and the number of drugs and sick people have increased substantially. Also, doesn’t it rattle you a bit to know that people are actually getting sicker, even though there is more “medicine”? Wasn’t that supposed to treat us?
Well, in fact – no, it wasn’t. You see, the point of “treating” with pharmaceutical drugs isn’t to cure illnesses, but to hide symptoms – that means the causes never get addressed, which causes severer problems that, conveniently, profit the Industry even more.
Is this making sense to you? Here’s more information on to what lengths the Pharmaceutical Industry would go just for profit. You’ll find the next articles extremely enlightening in that regard.
So, what other options are there for when we are sick or need treatment – since they are more concerned with profit than your health? – We’ll get there in a moment.
3. Understanding The Food Industry
This may just be the most important one of all. Why? – Well, because it directly affects your health. And, if it affects your health, it affects how much money you spend and earn and how much medicine you need.
So, what is it about the food industry, that could really lead it to be the most important thing here?
Have you ever heard the saying “You are what you eat”? Well, this is more true than most people even realise. You see, everything that enters your body has an impact on your entire system. This means that, depending on what kind of food you are eating (if you’re eating fast food, if you’re eating biological food…) this, too, changes the way your body functions. And this is the primary cause for disease most people don’t realise.
For millions of years, our bodies adapted to be the way they are today. Literally everything in our body is there because needs to be (yes, your appendix is in your body for a reason too – check here). But, like any normal vehicle – let’s compare the body to a vehicle for now, shall we? – it needs the right fuel to work. You wouldn’t put water in your car as fuel if it would cause it to malfunction, would you?
So, over the course of our evolution, our bodies took millions of years to adapt to the food we were eating – which used to be vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, and so on. It literally took millions of years. Yet, these days, how much of that do we usually eat?
That’s right – vegetables and fruits have been cut to a minimum, what’s more, most have been genetically modified; meat and fish, even though consumed more, have become so modified by antibiotics, hormones, genetically modified food they are fed, neither one of these stand for something our bodies are prepared to eat…
So, the first thing you need to know about the Food Industry is that, literally everything that is in supermarkets – if not labelled biologic – is genetically modified. And we aren’t prepared to eat that. Not to mention the pesticides that are spread in the harvests to kill plagues, or the toxic chemicals which are also mixed with the food we eat, disguised as food ingredients (here‘s a very serious example of that)
And here you can get a lot more information on the Food Industry:
Number Two: Vote With Your Wallet
Have you ever voted, in elections? Well, if you did, you must have realised that voting didn’t actually change anything. You did notice that, didn’t you? Well, that’s because there is only one way our vote counts – with the money we spend. See, when you go to a supermarket, and you buy a product, you are telling the store and the people who make the product, that you want more. So more is fabricated so there is more available to you.
The problem is, when you buy products from companies with bad working ethics (such as Nestle, for example, that employs young children to do their hard work – Source) you are encouraging people to continue on with what they have been doing. In Nestle’s case, every time you buy a product from them, you are encouraging them to practically enslave children. And that’s not what you want at all, is it?
So, here is what you can do instead:
– Become informed on what the products you are buying contain, and where they are coming from. Again, it is really important that you do your research, for your own good, and for the sake of the children who depend on your actions;
– Choose local products, that you can be sure are trustworthy;
– Avoid genetically modified organisms and products who have been exposed to these – such as meat and fish you get on supermarkets;
– Include more vegetables and fruits on your diet – again, biological and from trustworthy sources;
– In the matter of what to use instead of prescription drugs – food has always been the best remedy. There are tons of foods that clean your body from toxins and even rid you of certain diseases – yes, cancer included. (Check here, here and here);
– Finally, pay attention to how you spend your money, because it will dictate the direction our collective future moves toward. For example, if you decide to spend your money on mobile phones and TV’s, there will be more of that to satisfy you; If you choose to redirect your money towards things that can really come in handy to you, like solar panels or other alternative energy ways, more access you’ll have to them – assuming these alternative energies don’t get suppressed, of course.
And now that this has been said and, hopefully, understood, let’s move on to the third thing you can do, shall we?
Number Three: Spread The Word
This may just be the easiest one.
We live in the Era of information. That means that every day more and more discoveries are made, more and more people decide to do something to change the current state of things – people like you. And so, more information is shared and it becomes virtually impossible to not be in contact with new information – that is, unless we want to.
Just by talking to your friends, exchanging ideas, spreading the word, you are effectively getting more people to join you in this big change. Just think what would happen if every one of your friends knew about the things mentioned above and, just like you, told all their friends. We’d have a different world in no time!
So, if you do your part and share the information you hold, you are helping us all create a better world. One in which all children can thrive and have a happy life.
At first, this may seem too simple to be able to help every child on the planet. And you are absolutely right. It really is simple. Most of the times we think that we have to go big to change the world – the typical “go big or go home” -, but the truth is, every big change starts with a small step in the right direction. Like people usually say, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
So don’t worry too much about creating a huge change – unless creating a huge change is what you want – and one step at a time, you will go even further than you imagined.
Now, I leave you with a little bit of inspiration for what we are fighting for.
And remember – their future rests on our shoulders.
